Pastor Steven & Deborah Michel
Pastor Steven and Deborah Michel have been serving the Lord in church ministry for many years. Over a decade ago, God led them to Ottawa to serve as an Associate Pastor to Dr. George Covey. After almost 30 years of fruitful ministry at Carleton Baptist Church (now Crosspoint Baptist Church) and over 51 years in the pastorate, Pastor Covey retired from full-time ministry. The church then unanimously voted to accept Pastor Michel to serve as their next Senior Pastor. Their prayer is that God will allow them to have many more years of ministry in Ottawa.
Pastor Michel's desire is that the Gospel goes forth clearly through every ministry of the church. He has a passion for clear and practical Bible teaching and preaching. His heart is to reach out and help individuals and families here in Ottawa, and also, through a strong missions program in our church, to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. Deborah has a wonderful servant's heart and a caring spirit for others. Among other responsibilities, she is involved in organizing, leading, and serving in our church's children and nursery programs. Pastor Michel and Deborah would count it a great privilege to personally welcome you to any one of our services. Moses Bahura moved to Ottawa and joined the staff of Crosspoint Baptist Church in September
of 2020. Moses Bahura was born in D.R. Congo moved to Canada in 2009 and trusted Christ as Saviour as a teenager. While he was at a Bible College He surrendered to full-time ministry. He graduated from FaithWay Baptist of Canada with a Bachelor of Religious Education in 2020. Moses Bahura is passionate to see young people grow in their personal walk with Christ. |
